I'm a homo-sapiens. What are you?

Right Elephant: Hey, I'm an African Elephant. What are you? I'm a Loxodonta species by the way.
Left Elephant: Hello, I'm an Indian Elephant. The species is E. Maximus.

Looking at the physical differences of these elephants above, something crossed my mind. What if each and every human race in this entire world still fall under different human binomial species/genus, and still using it for background recognition detail in formal birth certificates, driver's license and I/D cards? I mean, instead of referring ourselves by the name of our country, tribe and continental, don't it be cool if we are to categorized ourselves by the human binomial species? Of course we all know that the modern human all fall under Homo-Sapiens species, but are we all Homo-Sapiens or do we have various genus of the Homo-Sapiens race?

We all know that every single person in every part of the world have different facial and body bone structures. USA American, South American, African, European, Middle East, Indians, Chinese, Asians and the rest of us have different facial structure that enables us to recognize and guess peoples places of origin.

Anyways, human binomial species are generally classified under Homo binomial species. There are several Homo's that has been positively recognize and studied. They are:-
  1. Homo ergaster
  2. Homo georgicus
  3. Homo floresiensis
  4. Homo antecessor
  5. Homo heidelbergensis
  6. Homo neanderthalensis
  7. Homo sapiens
  8. Homo rhodesiensis
  9. Homo cepranensis
Now let me type a bit information about each of these Homo binomial species and compare their face with our modern human face, and then relate them to their places of origin.

1. Homo Ergaster

  • Lived in Southern and Eastern Africa
  • Lived approximately 1.9 - 1.4 million years ago
  • For more information, click on the Binomial name from the Homo-species list
  • First photo on the left is the clay structure of Homo Ergaster, the other two photos are the modern African (not African tribe people) men.
  • Other similarities are the Somalian people

2. Homo Georgicus

  • Lived in Southern European and Georgia
  • Lived approximately 1.77 million years ago
  • For more information, click on the Binomial name from the Homo-species list
  • First photo on the left is the clay structure of Homo Georgicus, the other photo is the modern Georgian men.
  • Other similarities are the Russian

3. Homo Floresiensis

  • Lived in Flores Island in Indonesia
  • Lived approximately 94 000 - 33 000 years ago
  • For more information, click on the Binomial name from the Homo-species list
  • First two photos on the left are the clay structure of Homo Floresiensis, the last right photo is the modern Timor men.
  • These people are also known as the black Australian people and Papua

4. Homo Antacessor

  • Lived in various places in Europe
  • Lived approximately 1.2mil - 800 000 years ago
  • For more information, click on the Binomial name from the Homo-species list
  • First two photos on the left are the clay structure of Homo Antacessor, the last right photo is the modern Europian men.
  • Other similarities are the Germany people

5. Homo Heidelbergensis

  • Lived in various places around North Africa and into Europe, around East
  • Lived approximately 600 000 - 400 000 years ago
  • For more information, click on the Binomial name from the Homo-species list
  • First two photos on the left are the clay structure of Homo Heidelbergensis, the last right photo is the modern North African men.
  • Other similarities are the middle East people

6. Homo Neanderthalisis

  • Lived in various places around Europe and Central Asia
  • Lived approximately 600 000 - 350 000 years ago
  • For more information, click on the Binomial name from the Homo-species list
  • First photo on the left is the clay structure of Homo Neanderthalisis, the next two photos are the modern Asian men.
  • This include the South East Asian people

7. Homo Rhodesiensis (skipped Homo Sapiens cos we're the living proof)

  • Dominan in various places in central Africa
  • Lived approximately 300 000 - 150 000 years ago
  • For more information, click on the Binomial name from the Homo-species list
  • First photo on the left is the clay structure of Homo Rhodesiensis, the next two photos are the modern African Tribal men.

8. Homo Cepranensis

  • Dominan in various places in Italy
  • Lived approximately 500 000 - 350 000 years ago
  • For more information, click on the Binomial name from the Homo-species list
  • First photo on the left is the clay structure of Homo Cepranensis, the next two photos are the modern Italian men.
  • Other similarities are Latino, Portuguese and most of the South American people

The photo comparisons are just my speculations and opinions, but the points of each homo species are facts taken directly from the wikipedia websites. Bottom line is, we are all human. Nothing more, nothing less.

But, if I really think of it, I could categorized my specific binomial species as Homo Sapiens-Neandsian-Borneo, given that I'm a South East Asian living in the North Borneo. Maybe the Caucasian American people will then be called Homo Sapiens-Heidelcauca-Americana. The black American people will then be called, Homo Sapiens-Ergas-Americana. I'm just speculating on these so if you find it offensive, please forgive me. heheh
