"I'm fun but NOT easy"... my kind of lyric!

Like most people who are fond of music, I do too but usually I'll come to understand certain lyric first before liking the whole song. It's quite hard to look for a song that I really like entirely because nowadays, most songs that aired on the radio just sounds lovely by the melody but so-so on the lyric. There are also some songs that has terrible melody *by my ears* but has an interesting and fascinating lyric.

My type of lyric should sound something like "I'm fun but NOT easy". Why? Because this kind of lyric usually contain interesting ways of words arrangement and usage. Another type of lyric that I like is, "Stop loving me and just go cause you're d**n boring!", but sadly it is hard to find songs with such type of lyric now. The type of lyrics that circulating the entertainment world nowadays are, "I'm glad we're done, now I can live peacefully", "I hate my bf/gf", "I love my love"... and the rest of it that has fail to impressed me. *Saya rasa saya ada hak untuk minta di-impress sebagai hak peminat, pendengar dan pengguna. Cheewah!*

Anyway, the kind of lyric that I like doesn't necessarily have to reflect the kind of person I am. It's just my nature to like something that is rare and different. Hereby I'd like to include the example of a lyric that I like from a song entitled "In These Shoes"

In these shoes?

I once met a man with a sense of adventure
He was dressed to thrill wherever he went
He said "Let's make love on a mountain top
Under the stars on a big hard rock"
I said "In these shoes?
I don't think so"
I said "Honey, let's do it here.

So I'm sitting at a bar in Guadalajara
In walks a guy with a faraway look in his eyes
He said "I've got as powerful horse outside
Climb on the back, I'll take you for a ride
I know a little place, we can get there for the break of day."
I said "In these shoes?
No way, Jose"
I said "Honey, let's stay right here."

No le gusta caminar. No puede montar a caballo
(She doesn't like to walk, she can't ride a horse)
Como se puede bailar? Es un escandolo
(But the way she dances, it's a scandal)

Then I met an Englishman
"Oh" he said
"Won't you walk up and down my spine,
It makes me feel strangely alive."
I said "In these shoes?
I doubt you'd survive."
I said "Honey, let's do it.
Let's stay right here."

No le gusta caminar. No puede montar a caballo
(She doesn't like to walk, she can't ride a horse)
Como se puede bailar? Es un escandolo
(But the way she dances, it's a scandal)

This can easily be found if you just googled for In These Shoes by Kirsty MacColl. Or I would suggest you to look for it previewable and downloadable on my favourite search and download site, http://www.4shared.com/
