To those who reads my updates, I've mention couple of times that I love watching paranormal documentary shows and my recent favourite is Ghost Lab. I've linked the title to the Discovery Channel intro, so you can refer to the channel information there.
Last night, Thursday night at 10pm, as scheduled on Astro TV guide, Discovery Channel Asia aired the latest episode of Ghost Lab paranormal investigation season 2 entitled Deadwood. The title was named so due to the investigation that took place in Deadwood, one of the wild West town of South Dakota USA. The investigation was held at two places in that town, Fairmont Hotel and Saloon No10. Both investigations and findings were really great, but now I'd like to type about Saloon No10 findings!

Saloon No10 was the place where James Butler Hickok a.k.a Wild Bill, one of the well known lawman who is also a daring gunfighter and a military scout, shot to his death in the middle of a poker game. By the way, he was also one of the good poker player during his time. If you are familiar with poker game, it is said that the poker idiom for 'Dead man's hand' was originated from Wild Bill homicide story. Now let me share with you the story of Wild Bill and his death in Saloon No10.
Bill was a newly wed when he went to Deadwood on a work mission. He was a renowned gunfighter with strong patriotic spirit. He also fought in the Union Army during the American Civil War. Due to this dangerous career position in one of the most dangerous wild West town at that time, he always puts his back against the wall to avoid any potential attacks from open spaces. He did the same thing when he played poker too which he prefers seats that puts his back to the wall. However, one day (2nd August 1876) he went into Saloon No10 and joined a poker game and the only seat available for him was the one that puts his back to the door.
He kindly asked Charles Rich to exchange seats with him, but Rich refused the offer for the sake of luck that might turn to him to win the game. Bill accepted Rich's refusal and sat with his back facing the door. Moments later, John McCall came in with a grudge against Bill. It was said that Bill swept all of McCall's money in the previous poker game. When McCall walked in, Bill immediately brandished his gun on McCall. Seeing that it was only McCall whom he thought was harmless, he sat back down and continued with the game. Very soon after that, McCall pulled out his gun and shot Wild Bill at the back of his head killing him instantly while he was still holding his cards. Thus the 2 pairs of black Aces and Eights with an unknown 5th card in Bill's hand was called "Dead man's hand".
So that's the story of how Wild Bill died, now let's talk about Ghost Lab investigation findings in Saloon No10!

Ghost Lab investigation team have numbers of ways to capture paranormal events in a target location that was reported haunted. They don't do psychic or paranormal cleansing, they just investigate and validate the haunting reports. What they do were, they cast their electronic nets *cctv and stuff* in a haunted house, and question or yell at the spirits hoping that the spirits would react and somehow get their voices or apparition captured on the electronic net. If either way doesn't work, Ghost Lab team will conduct an Era Cue. Era Cue is a re-enactment of the whole story of how the ghost died on the first place. It is believed that Era Cue could energized the involved spirits to participate in the re-enactment. From this the Ghost Lab team hope that the spirits will react to the re-enactment, thus captured any sounds or apparitions on the camera or sound recorder.
What Ghost Lab team did in Saloon No10 was they re-enact the event of how Wild Bill died. During certain parts of the act, they would paused the action and ask questions to "Wild Bill" along the way until the acting ended.

Long story short, right before the part where McCall(actor) shot Wild Bill(actor) in his head, Brad Klinge paused the re-enactment and asked Wild Bill(the ghost) this question, "Bill, do you have any last words?"
Unexpectedly the team heard a male voice replied to their question, and immediately examined the findings in the lab later on. Amazingly, the man's voice happen to be a direct reply to Brad's question and the direct reply was, "Tell my wife... I love her".

Yes! You heard it right at 2.38! Bill(suspected spirit) said, "Tell my wife... I love her".
How irony is that?! The moment I watch and heard the amplified EVP, I got goosebumps immediately but not the scary kind of goosebumps. It was more to sadden mixed with touched feelings plus with shivering goosebumps.
Later, the recent owner of the Saloon No10 revealed that on the 1st August 1876, a day before Wild Bill's death, he wrote a letter to his wife, Agnes after he got the bad premonition of his last visit to Deadwood. Part of the letter written was, "If fate ever gonna separate us, I will swim to the other shore and tell you that I love you." *more or less*.
If we connect the sentence from the letter to the captured EVP, it's most likely that Wild Bill had managed to 'swim to the other shore' between life and death, and finally tell his wife that he loved her.
Wah!!! Sedihnyaaa!!!!!!
